SYOKIMAU DEMOLITIONS

Parliament should be applauded  for its no nonsense approach to the sensitive issue that is Syokimau Demolitions among others. The nation have read empathy on the part of  parliamentarians.Thumbs up to the Mutava Msyimi led Parliamentary Committee. THE PROCESS WAS GOOD THE PROCESS WAS METICULOUS,but when it came to the recommendations something went amiss.
The Mtava msyimi led Committee should have  emphasized criminal investigation to be initiated to bring the fraudulent land dealers to book.
The case is simple : some body is claiming he bought land genuinely. The  other person is  confirming he sold his land  legally.
Let it be clear that you can sell only what you hold in good standing.
Key to the whole mess is the responsible officers in government, the land dealers in question and professionals in the private sector  who negligently or fraudulently midwifed  the sale of Syokimau land . If any compensation is to be done , the specific  people should carry their own cross. Throwing the burden to the government is doing so to the tax payer  who has been willingly paying same officers to take care of anything that would cause such eventuality.
Making the the tax payer a door mart for criminals, while same criminals are handled criminals with feather   fingers is unacceptable.
